Camarena is a typeface inspired by Mexican inventor of color TV, Guillermo Gonzales Camarena. The design of the typefaces takes inspiration from several shapes and forms of the cameras, 1940s television sets and other devices that were used and invented to create color TV by Camarena. After finalizing the letterforms, a specimen book was designed to further show how the invention by Camarena inspired this typeface. Camarena is an OpenType typeface created using font editors RoboFont and Glyphs.
